Pro Compass is a professional-grade compass application that beautifully replicates the design and functionality of classic pocket compass hardware from the 1800s. It expertly combines traditional aesthetics with modern features and technologies.

Utilizing advanced OpenGL graphics, typically found in games, Pro Compass generates a stunning 3D floating compass display for an incredibly realistic user experience.

With nine different compass modes to choose from, including direct read, traditional, and rosette styles, this app offers versatility to suit various preferences. Each mode can display degrees, quads, or mils, with the direct read mode featuring a North-South needle and reversed East-West convention. Brilliantly, Pro Compass simultaneously shows both magnetic and true direction on all display modes. Furthermore, it incorporates a rotating outer true ring that adjusts automatically based on local magnetic declination. To top it off, the app also provides real-time updates on the positions of the sun and moon.

In addition to its exceptional compass functionality, Pro Compass displays precise location and altitude information in various formats such as decimal, degree-minute-second, UTM, and MGRS. For enhanced accuracy and compatibility, users have the option to add the "Datum Pack," which encompasses over 230 geodetic datums covering regions and countries across all continents.

The app even includes a built-in two-axis inclinometer, featuring two independent bubble levels and a bullseye level. With angle readout dials for each axis, this inclinometer proves useful for measuring slopes, pitches, sight lines, as well as geological angles like dip and strike.

It's worth noting that Pro Compass is purely reliant on the magnetometer sensor accuracy of your device. Any margin of error is determined by the hardware itself rather than the application.
